Giant Raintree or Giant Monkey Pod Tree
Giant Monkey Pod Tree is another interesting place in Kanchanaburi. When arrived will be excited and stunned at how big the tree is. The tree is over 150 years old, the radius of the canopy is 25.87 and the diameter of the tree is around 51.75 meters therefore 10 people can besiege. The height of the tree is 20 meters, the tree cover 0.0016 square kilometers of area. Currently, it is hard to find a big tree like this. When arrived the parking is available, there is a souvenir and local product.

This place is the pride of Kanchanaburi and under the supervision of Agriculture Division 1 Veterinary and Remount Dept. Currently, it is another tourist attraction in Kanchanaburi.

There is no admission fee, And there are no public transportation in this area. You can take a taxi from Kanchanaburi town or drive yourself with private car take about 40 min.
